Agree.

Want to delete this post here but I don't see the way of doing it.
(or to move the post to Users Showcase subforum)
Do you know how can I do that?
Thanks in advance.

Animating a checkmate in two moves

After designing chess pieces, an animation of a checkmate in two moves is shown.
I invite you to take a look at the short video:
FreeCAD: Animating a checkmate in two moves.

If you like to play chess and want to solve the problem, just take the appropriate pause.

Greetings.

Re: Sketcher: A way of drawing tangents to B-Splines

interesting method, I don't see the need for making a separate sketch with a closed profile for extruding though since directly extruding the standalone spline would have worked too. Edit: actually I just checked and you can even get away with just making a subshapebinder for the cut, much cleaner ...

Re: Sketcher: A way of drawing tangents to B-Splines

Hi @jruiz, @NewJoker and anyone else interested. I am working on this problem in a more formal way so that the results can be merged into sketcher itself. I am trying to make this a funded project. If interested you can take a look at https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=71130. So f...

Re: Features Request: Toggle "Assembly4 mode" in Part Design WB

[*]have LCSs included in Parts and Bodies and They already have the origin object Yes, but they do not have an "LCS object", as the ones created with the corresponding tool, which is IMHO very useful. to be able to select the more references for Sketches to be attached to, (appart from XY...

Re: Features Request: Toggle "Assembly4 mode" in Part Design WB

Yep, but beside this, to:
  • have LCSs included in Parts and Bodies and
  • to be able to select the more references for Sketches to be attached to, (appart from XY, XZ and YZ planes)
And, if Part or a Body is selected (without activating it), a sketch can be created inside it...

Features Request: Toggle "Assembly4 mode" in Part Design WB

As we know, when Parts, Bodies, Sketches, Planes are going to be created in Assembly4, a name is requested before their creation. After creation, Parts and Bodies have their respective LCSs. In the case of Sketches, LCS, Plans, Axes... attachments are requested. Beyond any workarounds, I think Part ...

Hey @Kunda1, sorry for being so late. I've been very busy these days.
Let me know what do you think about this animation please.
