Re: Usage optimisation for Arch and BIM
FreeCAD's been fun so far. It was a bit frustrating at first, but I got accustomed to the interface after watching several videos on it. I'm not convinced I'm using the program efficiently, so maybe you guys have some tips based upon what I want to do. I'm designing and going to build a house from ...

Re: New all-in-one Draft styling button
I think that's the way to go, the preference was becomming to cumbersome to always go there to change things, with this, with one change you are set to go. Thanks a bunch. It is always good to have users feedback on the workflow, especially those like you have built a numbers of models using FC :D ...

Re: New all-in-one Draft styling button
With 88f5fc20b1 the color, face color, line width and text width buttons on the Draft toolbar have now been condensed into one single button, which opens a task panel when pressed (like the Working Plane button). This gives us way more options and cleaner code, and the user doesn't need to go to th...

Re: [Discussion] Drafting 2d annotations for architecture
Yes, it is related. And I have read this thread before, but didn't follow through. I'll revisit it once I decide to start on this. Or maybe at that time, you guys may already have something I can use right away. Great, well... I think this is something really needed... I really miss the basis to la...

Another variant could be with blue background and white gear.

Re: Draft Edit improvements
A very common way to delete something is to use the dedicated "Del" key. Here is a little attempt... It works, and it's really intuitive BUT :  if an object is selected, FreeCAD catch the DEL key pressed and delete it... I have to check how the sketcher handle this... Any hints? iil...

Re: Automatic Light Gauge Steel Frame Creator And Panelizer macro
Wow this is defintely some cool stuffs, Can the steel frame be switched between wood frame or steel frame on wish? that is lets say you wanted to change most if not all the steel frame from steel to wood in one click (may it's too expensive for the client and he wanted to go with wood)? then change ...
