Re: Unable to create Arch Frame objects
hm I am not sure this pivy can be safely built as a debian package or not... I only tested using the instructions on the github page... Reported my problem in GH issue... Tried to build using distutils but no luck either: ~/Sources/pivy/pivy-0.6.3> python setup.py build running build Platform...lin...

Re: #ERR getting Material properties dictionary values in spreadsheet cells
Hi, Could you give an example (or maybe a file) on how you have assigned a material to a part. And explain further what values you would like to have in a spreadsheet. ... Therefore i am guessing we are talking about some Arch/FEM related features utilizing current material support FreeCAD has? I'm ...

Ticket #3391 - #ERR getting Material properties dictionary values in spreadsheet cells
Hi, Keeping on working on my parametric cabinet master design, I'd like to get some parts material properties in spreadsheet cells but get an #ERR whatever syntax I try. Could someone please tell me if this is possible at all and, if so, what's the appropriate way to do that ? Thank you in advance f...

Re: Unable to create Arch Frame objects
Hello Yorik ... If you have enough courage, you could try to compile the brand new version of pivy that looo maintains, at https://github.com/FreeCAD/pivy and see if that solves the problem (it would indicate that there is something wrong in your distro's package) Tried to build the package. After a...

Re: Use of substractive features across bodies/parts
Bien le bonjour Normand ! :-) You're right, that's what I experimented making various tests. It a little pitty ATM, but I hope this could be a first step to this end. All woodworking/cabinetry softwares we tested so far work like this someway: you build the furniture structure and faces from panels ...

Use of substractive features across bodies/parts
Hi, Just discovered the substractive primitives in v0.17 and immediately wondered if they could be use to embed in parts their associated machinings ? As an example, can a substractive cylinder be used in a hinge part design to create the hole in the associated panel when assembled ? Screenshot-Free...

Re: Unable to create Arch Frame objects
I cannot reproduce your problem here, everything is fine... But it seems to me the problem is in pivy and not in Arch Frame. Do all Draft tools (line, rectangle, etc...) give a similar pivy error? There might be a problem in the pivy package you are using... Made a quick test with all draft tools. ...

#3330: Add custom/foreign addon via repository URLs in addon-manager
Hi With the advent of the built-in addon-manager (which I love BTW), it would be nice to be able to add workbenches and macros unknown to it with a repository URL. Then we would enjoy the manager's goodness for updating and removing these custom extensions. Feature request created here #3330 Thanks ...
