Path to Addon Repository

Hello, I would need to re-organise my GitHub repository , and also change the default branch from master to main . But I wouldn't want the users of the Assembly4 workbench to be shut out of it. How can it be achieved that the Addon Manager points to the new path of the – same – Assembly4 workbench ?...

yes, I rather try to do than look at issues. Yes. And quite proud of it.

Re: Integrated Assembly Workbench, not the official Thread (Unified Assembly Workbench)

Did someone actually try to use this WB ? Like *REALLY* try ? So I went on and did it myself. Downloaded the latest Ondsel built (with a date from 3 days ago) and tried to replicate the Assembly4 tutorial for beginners #2. asm_tuto2.png I won't comment on the UI (it's obvious now where the bike-shed...

So ... you're paid by Ondesel then. Would you please enlighten us about the subtle differences please ?

Re: Assembly 4 redundant LCS's

One component if it has multiple bodies wraped into Part as one component - is it OK for Asm4 ? Ah OK, yes, that's perfectly fine Because I'm building library of fasteners as separate components/files on this idea. https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopic.php?t=4205&start=150#p724548 I'm not sure ab...

Re: Assembly 4 redundant LCS's

Another related question. Is it correct for Asm4, if I have .FCSTds - Part - - body1 - - body 2 .... - - body N? It's not wrong, but the intended workflow is to use links. Those Bodies can either be in the Parts group in the assembly file, (directly without wrapping them into parts) of in different...

Re: Assembly 4 redundant LCS's

Now when I create a Body inside the new Part Do you have à particular reason for creating à Body inside the Part ? It's been very long time that this is not required, you can create and use Bodies directly, without the *need* to wrap them inside a Part. And then the duplicate LCS problem doesn't ex...

Re: Sketcher Toolbars

I like the Catia way of dragging a drop down into a toolbar. We do not have that handy though. There is another standard way of dealing with this: having a small arrow at the edge of the toolbar where you can select the tools that you want to be seen. This way, every tool can be shown by default, a...
