Re: Material not found

Found the issue. One change in the new materials is organization into libraries. Materials outside of libraries are marked as not found. This is a change from previous behaviour. This will go away in any update, but in the meantime I need to fix this as it will probably impact other workbenches as ...

Re: Installing CfdOF on a Mac

Thanks for telling me that! Thought I hadn't done something right. First time (a few days ago) I went looking for the Test Framework WB and didn't find it. This time, I scrolled down to the bottom and found it. Inside the GUI, the CfdOF test script runs, and does fail at the two tests, but does not...

Re: CfdOF training - dead link

Just a heads up, the link used to direct folks to the demo files is dead. Specifically this link: https://gitlab.com/opensimproject/cfdof leads to 404. The original post is Read this First. https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopic.php?p=280353#p280353. The link above is under the Training section. Thank...

Re: Installing CfdOF on a Mac

Is my expectation that running the CfdOF test script from the command line should not cause an application fault correct? The 2 failures are ok, since it's just that I forgot to update some comparison files after the latest changes. But of course there should not be a crash. It might be wise not to...

grandcross wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2024 3:21 am While updating is certainly encouraged, compatibility should still be preserved. I haven't looked into this module specifically but there have been some issues fixed in finding fluids.

I'll look into this to see if there's something specific causing this problem.
Thank you, that's good news!

Re: Installing CfdOF on a Mac

@oliveroxtoby Tried this on just cfmesh-cfdof. Seems there are a couple of issues. In report view I see a TypeError traceback. 16:25:34 creating: cfmesh-cfdof/executables/tetMesh/ 16:25:34 inflating: cfmesh-cfdof/executables/tetMesh/tetMesh.C 16:25:34 creating: cfmesh-cfdof/executables/tetMesh/Make...

Re: Installing CfdOF on a Mac

@BDL42 @Fafabu perhaps you could try the installation of cfMesh and HiSA from the preferences page again. I have made some changes in line with what BDL42 mentioned in the hope that it'll be fixed. But chances are there will be bugs since I'm doing this 'blind' without a platform to test on.

Re: Material not found

Hi all, I've been unable to add Fuild Properties to an analysis, I'm using freecad-daily in ubuntu 22.04 and the latest CfdOF. Every time you create an anlysis or try to add fluid properties, I get the error : Unfortunately I haven't yet got around to updating CfdOF to use the new Materials module,...

Re: Installing CfdOF on a Mac

I updated just now, but no luck, with either a blank or (I believe) correctly spelled full path. /Applications/ParaView-5.11.2.app/Contents/MacOS/paraview OK, some progress. This time it does find paraview with a blank path and reports a version number, but the detection of pvpython is still not wo...
