Possible to change dimension extensions in TechDraw?
Does anyone know if it's possible to edit or remove extension lines for TechDraw dimensions, like you can the Draft type? I've taken a look at the documentation on the various TechDraw dimensions (ie. TechDraw Dimension Length) but haven't managed to find anything.

Re: Tracing out shape with wire (ignoring an axis when snapping)
For that you need to enable the https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/images/thumb/8/81/Draft_WorkingPlane.png/32px-Draft_WorkingPlane.png Draft_WorkingPlane snap mode. Didn't see your message before, and just came here now to announce that I'd found that in the documents! Thanks, that's a very useful to...

Re: Draft - Dimensions lines always snapping with snapping turned off (0.18 final)
Have you checked the docs? Doesn't "always snap" mean " always snap"? I have checked the documentation : By default the option "Always snap (disable snap mod)" is active, which means that you don't need to press a modifier key to activate the snapping tools. If this op...

Draft - Dimensions lines always snapping with snapping turned off (0.18 final)
As title says, when creating Draft objects the cursor snaps to dimension lines regardless of snap settings. The only way to prevent it is to disable "always snap" in preferences. Can anyone else confirm this behaviour? OS: Windows 10 Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Ver...

Re: Box selection bug - groups being selected (0.18 final)
Here only the group is selected, but not its contents. I've done some experimenting and it seems that sometimes it selects everything (including the contents of the groups), and other times it only selects the groups. Either way, doing a copy paste of the selection will copy the contents of the gro...

Bug - Box selection: groups being selected (0.18 final)
For some bizarre reason any groups in my project are being included when I do a box selection over a particular Draft Rectangle. 1. Press shift+b and create a box selection over the rectangle. 2. Notice how any groups in the project (you may add more and it will affect them too) get selected. As a r...

Re: Unable to print (0.18 final)
Yes, or even from a TechView page. I can print or export PDF from TechDraw successfully in all the version listed above. I only have problems printing the 3D window. Are you having problems printing from TechDraw and/or Drawing also? I tried TechDraw again just to be sure (and Drawing because why n...

Draft pattern rendering badly (0.18 final)
Between build 15938 and build 16110 something changed in the pattern rendering and now they look terrible. Simple pattern, 0.1 size, on a 50x50mm rectangle. OS: Windows 10 Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.18.16110 (Git) Build type: Release Branch: (HEAD detached at ups...

Tracing out shape with wire (ignoring an axis when snapping)
Been wracking my brains trying to figure out why a wire won't close, and realised that when tracing over it with a new wire a couple of points are out of plane (slightly different Z position in this case). Is it possible to lock to the current working plane even when using snapping? So for example I...
