[Sketcher] Bug in passive diameter measurement for locked circle

Hi all, there is a bug when using a passive diameter measurement on a locked circle. The shown value is twice the real diameter. Cf. screenshot and test file. 2021-02-04--14-40-51-screenshot.png sketcher_passive_diameter_locked_circle.fcstd Gaël OS: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS (i3/i3) Word size of OS: 64-bit...

Re: PartDesign Hole: read cut-types from json-files.

There is a small error in the json files: Failed reading ‘/usr/share/freecad-daily/Mod/PartDesign/Resources/Hole/iso7046.json’ with: [json.exception.parse_error.101] parse error at line 8, column 5: syntax error while parsing array - unexpected '{'; expected ']' Gaël OS: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS (i3/i3) W...

PartDesign::FeatureBase, App::Link and uniqueness

I have some issue to get the position of some geometry element when using PartDesign::FeatureBase combined with App::Link. Cf. links_and_object_uniqueness.fcstd for an example. The file contains a Part::Box , a PartDesign::Body is derived from it, from which a App::Link object is created. I can appl...

Re: [Macro] New Honeycomb Solid Macro (to be tested)

Hello, the page https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Scripted_objects_saving_attributes explains more about how to save attributes. I think that one of the things then need to be respected is that the class must be importable, i.e. a *.py file, not a *.FCMacro file. I don't have the time to double-check that...

Re: PR #4000 dialog to edit Part's primitives

To reduce the number of new slots the QSignalMapper can be used. Just a little comment about QSignalMapper. I didn't know this feature, so I looked at the documentation which states "This class was mostly useful before lambda functions could be used as slots". I must say that I agree with...

Re: Sweep, preview seems correct but final shape is incorrect

Good to know! Thanks, experts!

I solved the issue by moving Sketch004, the sketch generating the cylinder, by 90° about the z-axis.

Sweep, preview seems correct but final shape is incorrect

Dear all, I have a problem with the Sweep tool of the PartDesign Workbench. The shape seems correct in the "Edit pipe" context menu but when I click "OK" in this dialog, the obtained shape is incorrect. It appears that only the part of the shape which is within the support cylind...
