Re: Cleaning up sketcher toolbars

The join curve tool doesn't just apply coincidence, but replaces the two curves with a single B-spline... Ah yes I didn't realized that because of the missing tangent. What about this proposal : when you apply a coincident between the ends of 2 bsplines, we open a dialog asking the user if he wants...

Re: Monthly Contributor Meeting - 2023-10-01

It's going to be yet another first Sunday (on 5 November). Do we use the same document to add topics? Yes, same document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mL6QFQtSZSvwFs65hJB1NlDHnIVYa7xsA1PvpA0P688/edit?usp=sharing Thanks! What about the timing? Daylight saving would have ended in Central Europ...

Re: Cleaning up sketcher toolbars

12 - Why do we have a 'join curve' tool ? It seems to be doing almost the same as coincidence. Maybe the coincidence tool could handle bspline appropriately rather than having a separate tool. The join curve tool doesn't just apply coincidence, but replaces the two curves with a single B-spline. Ri...

Re: Sketcher Offset

Offsets are not planned for 0.21 at least. Additionally, there is a complication that offsets don't always behave like existing curves, so even when they are supported I expect it would take time to support any constraints using the offset curves (if at all).

IndiaFOSS 3.0 conference: anyone interested to attend and/or speak?

Exactly what it says on the tin. Dates are late October 2023. Link here: https://indiafoss.net/2023/speaker-suggestions. This group has been extremely active over the last few years, having more local (citywise) conferences throughout the year. There is also PyCon India happening late September if y...
