Missing TechDraw Annotation toolbar
Hello FreeCAD community, I cannot find a way to show Annotation toolbar of a TechDraw Workbench . I can see rest of them (Pages, Views, Clips, Dimensions, Import/Export and Decorations). I considered following issues: obsolete version of FreeCAD - I have latest 0.18 from OpenSUSE repositories. I als...

RESOLVED: Re: FCC0.18/FC0.19pre - Sketcher blocked to [0,0]
It sounds as if you have the grid enabled with a rather big grid size. Thank you, that basically resolved the consequences of this issue. The Grid Size in Edit -> Preferences : Sketcher was set to 100mm. When changed to 10mm, the Sketcher now behaves more or less as expected. I checked the other pc...

FCC0.18/FC0.19pre - Sketcher blocked to [0,0]
Forgive me, if it's a duplicate. I reviewed the List Of Known Specific Issues by chrisb, searched the forum, but didn't find anything. And yes, I'm aware I'm using a development version and accept the fact it's not working right on my PC. The issue is, that with some newer releases of FC, the Sketch...

Re: Assembly3 preview
So, you are essentially complain about a UI problem? Oh, I wouldn't dare to complain :-). It's the way I look at decision making. I don't think a good althorithm is about what I or someone else want. It's about placing the right questions and getting objective answers - they show the correct way ou...

Re: Assembly3 preview
As a matter of fact, the moment m.cavallerin made that post and got my attention, I started to consider the possibility of making "implicit elements". I am actually testing the idea this very moment. Good, you know best the current design. Let us know about the outcome, please :-) I didn'...

Re: Assembly3 preview
I read the discussion along and I wonder, why is the link information stored in part files and not the assembly file? There has to be a serious reason for that, for it's not the standard way to design such data structures. If I understand correctly the last post, this is because there's an attempt t...

Re: Assembly3 preview
Just a comment, generally speaking to the App::Part replacement and Assembly 3. I'm not an expert, it's just a thought and I humbly accept that what seem to me important might be a wrong understanding of the situation. I fear that it gets more and more complicated over time. I'm primarilly testing A...

Re: assembly
Just for reference for future visitors of this thread. There's also pretty complex Assembly 3 , which is in development, but the Octover's release was a giant leap forward in terms of stability. There should be also a new release by the end of this month (November 2018). Some bugs are present, but i...

Re: Assembly3 preview
Haha, I'll have to borrow one of these rubber mentors from my kids next time I'm stuck :-) I was thinking about the misplaced parts and one strange thing that that baffle my mind why (some) of the parts (or their dejavu copies) are placed in such an odd angle. I then remembered, that my assembly was...
