Now, that's interesting!
I hadn't noticed this message:
I don't have/find the OCE anywhere, (package already installed or Slackware repository)
How/where did you get it from?
Thanks

Re: Another window issue
Nope! Still nothing! However, i noticed that other dependency packages seem to be missing, such as: matplotlib numpy python-dateutil distribute pytz Spnav SetupTools Just in case the issue is with OpenCascade, could you tell me how to " set " it correctly? p.s.: even after installing all t...

Re: Another window issue
I will give the cmake-gui a go, It seems you have not installed or set the "Open Cascade" package. Or the development files for Open Cascade are missing. i'm pretty sure that OpenCascade is installed (otherwise, I don't think I would have successfully compiled and installed FreCAD 0.13). H...

Re: Another window issue
Nope! it just won't work! but I believe I am getting closer to have a successful build of FreeCAD Development release. The compile stops with the following error msg: -- Coin3D doc is not installed CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are set to NOTFOUND. Please se...

Re: FreeCAD 0.13 fails to compile on Slackware 14.1
Hello All, it seems that the problem was resolved with a new install of the following development packages: gcc gcc-gcc++ cmake After, I compiled 'eigen3' successfully which then resulted in successful build and install of FreeCAD0.13 (unfortunately the latest beta version offered via the git link a...

Re: FreeCAD 0.13 fails to compile on Slackware 14.1
quick61 and everyone else, thank you for your interest, but there is one question that I can't get my head around! assuming that I bypass the compiling process, I am not even managing to get the binary package to work, starting from FreeCAD 0.9 to 0.12. It installs as every other package and it even...

Re: FreeCAD 0.13 fails to compile on Slackware 14.1
HI Mark, and thank you for your input. The rest should be SOP from there. you would think so! however, when I try to configure the package i still get this: CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/CMakeTestCXXCompiler.cmake:54 (message): The C++ compiler "/usr/bin/c++" is not able to c...

Re: FreeCAD 0.13 fails to compile on Slackware 14.1
Hi quick61, and thank you for your useful info. I am currently working on installing cmake-gui to then try to work around the latest OCE. However the link you included for the latest FreeCAD (0.14) seems to be a windows install. Scrolling back through parent directories there is not FreeCAD-0.14 for...

Re: FreeCAD 0.13 fails to compile on Slackware 14.1
HI jobermayr, and thank you for your suggestion. I have installed the gcc-gcc++[4.8.2] and nothing changed. I still get the same error msg during the build. One note: I noticed that on SlackBuilds.org, AlienBbob, advises 'eigen3' as a required package for the FreeCAD. Checking all FreeCAD dependenci...
