Re: Frequency analysis
Hi, maybe what FreeCAD needs is a way to define a the kind of analysis when is created. I meant, one could press an icon to create a new analysis on the selected part, but now is hardcoded that the analysis will be static, I would preffer to have a way to choose between different types (starting fro...

Re: Mesh generation
I have made only few samples by the moment on FreeCAD using the default mesher, without any problem (even more, have meshed a slight complex body valve that should be fatal for the Netgen). I use also Gmsh (the standalone app) for complex parts and in my humild opinion, Netgen surpass it. I will mak...

Re: Frequency analysis
Hi, I have problems also with the name of the generated Calculix files, maybe would be great if they can be the same as the analysis on the FreeCAD tree. We normally run several load cases for the same part, so having the Calculix files correctly named is very good for archiving. Regards, and thanks...

Re: I'm asking to much
Of course that I can do it, just select some models, define boundary conditions and make available and I will share the results.
Regards, and we keep in touch.

Re: Slow solving

My problem was... that I'm very stupid :D :D :D :D In order to don't lose the stable version I move to a different folder and unpack the new one, then launch the program from the icon on my desk... but Windows find a way to the old version without notice me, so I keep using it without unders...

Re: Slow solving
Thanks all for the support. I'm sorry for being a little annoying, but could it be that there is no unstable version precompiled for Windows? I can't find any unstable on github... and compiling is away from my knowledge by the moment.

I'm asking to much
Hi, I felt that I'm asking too much for the developers, but not giving anyithing in charge, that make me feels in some kind of debt with the comunity    What I can offer is to solve some benchmark analysis in another solvers in order to serve as reference and crosschek. I ...

Slow solving
Hi, I'm using this wonderfull software, and as I used before the Calculix solver (another great tool), have noted that the speed for caclulation is very slow compared with the command line solver. From the task panel in FreeCAD the ccx version is 2.6.1 (32 bits?), but is there a way to use the new 2...

Postprocessing
Hi, after using the postprocessor a little, i found some features missed... that saddly as I'm not a programmer can't implement by myself :D :D :D :D , but I will happy to give my feedback and serve as betatester: • Scales, is a must • Edit min/max values on scales • Probe nodes (select one node and...
