Re: SVN version is 5000 -- Party time???

Hi everyone I just experimented with Norm's cake, ...... seriously Norm your cake is a great thing because it shows off a few of the cool abilities of FreeCAD. The Global changing of display mode is far worse than I thought because you 1)not only have to select everything you want to change but 2)yo...

Re: some code updates - adding icons and functions

Hi Norm I don't want anyone to think I am being critical here. These are just my thoughts, which I do not hold to very strongly and may change considerably over time. Re: SVN version is 5000 -- Party time???

Too bad you can already throw it away because we're at rev 5001 :D Do you want to know something funny Werner? I really did actually check with "SVN up" immediately before posting my SVN5000 screenshot to make sure it had not yet been updated beyond svn5000, and at the time it hadn't. :D ...

Re: SVN version is 5000 -- Party time???

Hi again Norm, and everyone else Now for the serious stuff, 1) "print preferences" you said that it looks better when printed as PDF, I was going to say you can change the background colour in FreeCAD preferences and that by default FreeCAD uses the display mode (editable in COMBO View) of...

Re: SVN version is 5000 -- Party time???

Hi Norm

I've got to say I'm impressed with your cake! :)

......Which either means your cake is impressive or I've gone mad ....... Oh poor Norm, I nearly forgot we already established the poor state of my mental health in a previous post here.

:D

Re: some code updates - adding icons and functions

OK, makes a lot sense now. I had no idea that you thought of Part that way, I had always thought of Part as the "core" or "primary" work bench, but in the long term you are saying that it is your intention to "sort of" relegate it to being like a system library, well al...
