Re: Sketch based Arch_Roof and wall substraction
But indeed it should also have a way to define a custom subtraction volume. IIRC everything is there in the code ( https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/blob/main/src/Mod/Arch/ArchComponent.py#L790 ) and the only missing thing is for the roof object to have a Subvolume property. Maybe one of you could ...

WIP Wednesday
I thought it would be a good idea to duplicate here the WIP Wednesday posts from the blog . These posts give a very god idea of the activity on the FreeCAD code, and not everyone here is following the blog. I'll paste the last ones here, and will try to keep up afterwards. Please do not post comment...

Re: The design group
That leads us to our next problem: The forum is very easily toxic and drives many people away. Our current moderation setup is not efficient and more than often insults fly free. In this situation, I think it's to be expected that the forum is not anymore the only place where people discuss and work...

Re: Private paid Lesson for intro to Arch-BIM module (short and very basic level)
Hi! I can't personally give you particular lessons, because my timetable is currently an uncontrollable hell, but maybe others on this forum could spare a few hours to give you some starters. However, I think it's not hard to learn by yourself, specially seeing that you're quite advanced with FreeCA...

Re: The design group
I don't think Abdullah left because o f the design group. As said above, it began with uwe's changes. I think more and more people are wanting to work on the sketcher, many more than just the design group. If it's someone's fault that Abdullah left, then it is us who merged sketcher code. We learned...

Re: The design group
To be brutally honest, when i see the PR/commit trend and the communication in between, then the PRs from the Ondsel devs have a small priority. Not intended, really hard facts or documented, but my guts never lied to me. Can you give an example of an ondsel PR having had priority? Honestly I don't...
