I know it is a lot to do, but Blender's approach with blocks / nodes is IMO the best option.

Very good idea with this snapshots. As this are snapshots of unstable releases, it would be nice to have workbenches and functionalities that are still not ready to use (and not present in stable releases), for example assembly or animation workbenches. This would give opportunity to better test tho...

@jmaustpc - I meant I wanted to make one app in C++ or C# for Windows environment for few CAD packages (not only FreeCAD, but also SW, SE and maybe also Inventor).
