openBrain wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2020 1:42 pm It's needed so the pocket will remove the outer part of the part rather than the inner one. You can try to remove it to see what happens. ;)
I have already made it. But I did not understand why it is so... apparently, it is a property of a Pocket.

Re: Combination of two objects

It's probably meant to hold the yogurt cups rather than the yogurt itself. The hole at the bottom would help in removing the cup as there wouldn't be a suction force. Yes, it is :) Furhter. I want to use Attachment (Mapping) to simplify my drawing. And I do not understand how it works... :( There i...

Re: Combination of two objects

Actually that's not so easy to explain it without knowing where you can have difficulty to understand and which detail level is needed. I think the good way is that you analyze the file by turning on each feature from the start to the end of the model, and tell where it's unclear for you. ;) You ar...

  • Set 'Fuse' property of array to 'True'
From specification:

Code: Select all

if it is True, and the copies intersect with each other, they will be fused together into a single shape.
Is it realy needed?

Thanks a lot! :)
I did it. But, why is it so hard?

Re: Part Design: problems with Thickness tool

I am trying to understand: are these artifacts normal?

Hmmm... a strange behavior in Blender is not all time...
The models were imported with a 1000 scale... when I had scaled them to 0.001 the Blender view has become fine!
