Re: PartDesign Next
Ok, I get it. Indeed Catia is not in the same Isometric view by default, (that's I misunderstand you) so you are facing the XZ plane normal, and the sketch orientation is along Y axis (as in freecad, or maybe freecad is as in catia, as IMHO FreeCAD is looking more and more like Catia, but I'm not CA...

Re: PartDesign Next
I don't get what you mean, the normal is on the Y+ axis, as usual (well as usually in Automotive... in other engineering field I don't know)NormandC wrote:But it's odd that the XZ_Plane orientation is reversed, i.e. facing backward rather than forward.

Re: Libre Graphics Meeting, London, April 2016
Wow, such an honor, my GraberI3 is on the presentation. for the records, thanks to this model I decided to.... do another 3D printer than this one lol By the way, for 3D printing, the production chain is close to be fully integrated in free cad with curaengine plugin. (I didn't succeed to make it wo...

Re: [how-to]-Boolean Operation Between bodies
I just modify the sequence I put. I saw that you need to have the body activated, AND the feature selected. if only the body is activated, the boolean operation comes at the end of the tree. better with a Warning message maybe? (like "No Feature Selected!"). If you select the boolean opera...

Re: [Bug?]-Boolean Operation Between bodies fail
What is selected when you use the boolean tool? And which body is the active one? so based on this question, I dig a little bit more and it works. indeed I had the 3rd body selected. But it was on purpose. I thought you need to make the boolean operation within a separate body. so : "How To pe...

Re: Updated PartDesign workflow
It Sounds very Attractive! Congratulation for the job. I'm testing it right now. How do we know if it's a real bug, or a not yet added function? (I already find some) do we have to put some [bug?] on each topic subject, and update it to [bug-confirmed] or [pending function] (or something else) once ...

Re: MacPorts users: CalculiX port test request
Hi, for Gmshh I have it in the macro : gmsh_bin = "/Applications/Gmsh.app/Contents/MacOS/gmsh" but As Blacey said, Netgen is now include in 0.16 version, so you no longer need GMSH for the first problem, I guess that's a path name problem, as you said, but unfortunately a I can't help you,...

Re: Help test FreeCAD for Mac
Hello!
if Some Mac user can test it :
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15215
just to know if it's a real drawback from OCC version, or if it's a problem from my configuration or file.
thanks
