I get the same problem when I use the perspective view. In orthographic view is the font the same size regardless of zoom level. Has been so for all FreeCAD versions I tried. Thanks, quick61 I on gnome3 so the solution was to install the package "assogiate", File Types Editor of the MIME file types database . Just created a new type that I put in the 3D models 0.png Then I added *. Fcstd under Filenames 1.png Maybe one must run gtk-update-icon-cache ? I did so ...

A search on Google "phpbb active topics not working" provides some clues.
