Re: [meeting minutes] developer meeting on how to integrate Toponaming
Yes, I am working on merging the toponaming stuff these few weeks. My original approach was try to sync my branch to the master first, and then cherry-pick topo naming related stuff to the upstream topo naming branch, like I did last time. But with about a week into it, I feel it would take far too ...

Re: [meeting minutes] developer meeting on how to integrate Toponaming
I would agree if it weren't for the fact that we already have a working implementation for Part and Part Design according to this post , doing a motorcycle frame in FreeCAD-core and LinkBranch, you get a file-size an order of magnitude larger with the LinkBranch (212Mb -vs- 13Mb). I wouldn't call i...

Re: Assembly3 preview
And now, if Body003 and Body004 are connected using Attachment , the "hinge" works as expected when Body004 is dragged: But if I use Attachment Offset , Body003 and Body004 do not seem constrained: I have just fixed problem. Note that in your case, AttachmentOffset (or Attachment) will be...

Re: Transparent mode background question
Disable the following option to get the correct behavior. This option is obsolete. I'll remove it.

Re: Assembly3 preview
The user workflow could be like this: 1. Use other constraints to set position of 2 parts 2. Apply "preserving position" Attachment 3. Disable earlier (before Attachmnent) constraints This is actually a pretty good feature that I find myself wanting it some times. So I just added it. You ...

Re: Transparent mode background question
@realthunder that doesn't help. I already have this setting selected, but side panel looks as above I don't quite understand. I mean your screenshoot below is transparent. Or do you mean when you mouse over it, it because not transparent? Can you please capture a screencast showing the problem? Can...

Re: When can we expect to see TNP PR's?
There are huge code changes in upstream since my last topo naming PR. It'll take a while for me to merge those changes. And once ready, it will be pushed into a separate TopoNaming branch in the upstream for the public to test. I expect the first batch to be ready in a few weeks. But, it'll take a m...

Re: Assembly3: Consider enabling SolveSpace flag Group.allowRedundant
I've checked that flag. It mostly seem to be used by the SolverSpace GUI to not report redundant constraint as error. The solver itself does not use that flag, and will report status as 'solve with redundancy', which is recognized by asm3 and will only report as warning. It's just that the solver do...
