Re: Shoelast

Hi,
and these you pls use with 10 mm + 20 mm offset. That should build up the arch for the foot.

Re: Problems closing edges in draft mode

Hello Renato, thank you so much for your help. Obviously this is a newbie mistake, but still I'm not getting the point (line) here. Kindly check what happens. The images are wrong placed. The bottom one is me in action the other is my "result" Draft Plane is also on AUTO mode like yours. T...

Problems closing edges in draft mode

Hello, I face problems to close edges in draft mode. The edges are retrieved from a cross section, but are not complete. What is the best way to close these edges? Obviously I have tried a lot in the draft bench, but I never get the lines in the correct positon even with the snap. Once I turn in dif...

Re: Shoelast

Hello,
I was just wandering what kind of a camera is required (any certain specifications) to scan objects. I actually have quite a large collection of shoe lasts, which I would like to scan doing like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qwbq94UdIlU

Re: Shoelast

Hello, sorry I had just a little time yesterday to see your latest video - fascinating. This stuff takes really much time off, had to lock the CAD yesterday. So, well, for the nurbs I'm not really sure how they react, have less experience. Generally there are two types of changes happening in the pr...

Re: Shoelast

Hello, I'm not sure if I get you 100%, but it brings me more to the direction to work with patterns. Let's say the frame is a pattern for a certain cortex position or if you like the J1-J-J2 position on the last and the spline is the actual shape. The frame and all points are defined in a Spreadshee...

Re: Shoelast

Hello,
after working with b-splines as per advice I've progressed a little bit. My model is not solid, so I have problems with the back part of the last, so I left it for today. Otherwise the loft works as a copy, I didn't change the spline yet.

Re: Shoelast

Hello, Given some control points of a bspline the length can be calculated and displayed. This would be very helpful. Any idea how to do it? the other way from the lenght to the curve is ambiguous as you can drag the skin of the shoe. So you can change the form of the bpsline until you get the right...
