Re: Multiple build errors on Linux

Arg, i have overseen/overread the errors. You are missing the submodules repos/depenencies. The test and the solver dependencies are not in the repo of FreeCAD (just as submodule).

For that you have to go in the source folder and

Code: Select all

git submodule update --init --recursive

an assembly and not the underlying operations that were performed
I do not use A2+, but i am sure, that there is at least one layer above the bodies.

Re: (SOLVED) Problem with Part Design/Pocket

But when I use the sketch to make a pocket (Part Design/Pocket),I mess things up ..... Im using Version 21.2 on Windows. With a recompute with 0.22main it works. 2024-03-30_16-13.png So I will redesign my footmat based on your input. To be honest, why? In this particular case, it is not needed. Jus...

I have created it for you now: issue #13230 Well, if you waited a few minutes more, you had spare this, i have already found it (a long known issue), see 7214 . pre-selection, not preselection (just a joke). https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=70139 https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopi...

You are very right here. Partially. And we should not forget again the "measuring". Freetime, since many on ondsel (may be) and (maybe other contractor from e.g. FPA proposal paid, i do not know, but they are mostly not here), the word freetime is not that proper anymore. When then things...

Re: Sketcher: Snapping to external edges automatically

And even in such situation the big CAD I used was quite ok with automatic constraints. It is very bad in a situation when you have full (supply) assemblies in the background, which you can not just "switch off" the background. For example (which comes also regular in my tasks) it the hydr...

what's this stuff? An imported stl file? A normal part. These are many "overlapping" planes. Have you switched presentation on or off.

Re: Merging insert tools into one

I agree with you on sheet. Maybe the now used name sheet is misleading, table is more sufiicent. If that is a a spredhid is just a iput field. However also note that the same tool can open different taskbox. As to no one expecting that, this is why in the PR I have updated the icon Yes it can and h...
