Since this icon is connected to Paraview some users with Paraview -background will easier orient themselves if it looks more like the original. See for instance http://www.bu.edu/tech/files/images/filtersrecentmenu.jpg Is this any better? (I've exaggerated the curve) fem-warp.png I could also play ...

I've no personal preference since i navigate by folder, a dev who navigates by string/name would be better placed to answer.
As for the wiki, i think it would require a run through which may be time consuming, but doable.

Lot's of tool names changed in FEM and the icons needs to be adapted. I would use this to change the FEM icon name system. Lately I seam to prefere to rename the icons the same way than the commands are. I'll let more dev minded people weigh in on the naming scheme, but if any of the icons need to ...

maybe after you finish all the work you might give it a shot at aligning Assembly 2 workbench icons. As that is more or less what FreeCAD users have been using in the past years sounds good, and I'm sure that many of the icons could be reused between the two during development of FreeCAD Assembly. ...
