Re: Hiding "Operations" (or job) does not hide operations themselves

The change does not affect the behavior of existing jobs so you'll need to create a new one. Ah ha ! Not found Sorry, I often find adding files unreliable on the forum, I should have checked. Here is a replacement, newly created with a fresh build of your repo. Content is equivalent and all previou...

Re: Hiding "Operations" (or job) does not hide operations themselves

When toggling job or Operations, why not iterate all paths and render them if they are visibility true? I don't understand what you mean. What I meant was: 3dview.path[n]visibility = job.visibility AND Operations.visibility AND pathOperation.visibility When you toggle the state of a parent, all the...

Re: Hiding "Operations" (or job) does not hide operations themselves

I'm still seeing what looks like the same behaviour from the user POV. Whether I see a path op still seems to be job.visibility OR Operations.visibility OR pathOperation.visibility Presumably you were not intending to change behaviour, just the data storage. So if there are just two renditions now, ...

Thanks. I'm building now. I'll give it a look tomorrow.

Re: Trouble finding OpenCamLib

Thanks, I added -DBUILD_PY_LIB=ON -DUSE_PY_3=ON to cmake line and it seems to have fixed it.

Not sure why this was not needed before, it must have been 18mo since I migrated to py3.

Thanks for the help .

Re: Path Workbench Repairing an Operation Moved Out of the Job

Thanks Chris. Can you point me to that earlier discussion, it would be good to see the detail on this and why it is hard to control DnD. IMO the better solution is to make DnD do what it appears it should do rather than breaking the treeview. That would be nice. At a minimum a hack to avoid the dest...

Re: Hiding "Operations" (or job) does not hide operations themselves

Thanks for such a detailed explanation, that's a great help. To clarify, it seems that what we are seeing is different, independent renditions of the same path operation, not multiple objects controlling the visibility of the same rendition. That is why it appears to using OR logic but that is not w...

Re: Path Workbench Repairing an Operation Moved Out of the Job

Yes, I've found that attempting to reorder ops like that will break things. This is particularly confusing because the mouse cursor changes in the UI indicating that DnD is supported and possible when it is not. This should either be fixed so it does work or disabled in the UI so that it does not me...

Re: Hiding "Operations" (or job) does not hide operations themselves

The same with jobs. If I hide them, I still have to hide every single child element (operations, model, stock), for nothing of the job to be visible. There is a strange kind of logic going on here. Visibility of an operation seems to be job.visibility OR Operations.visibility OR operation.visibilit...
