Re: Path Workbench Repairing an Operation Moved Out of the Job

Thanks Chris. Can you point me to that earlier discussion, it would be good to see the detail on this and why it is hard to control DnD. IMO the better solution is to make DnD do what it appears it should do rather than breaking the treeview. That would be nice. At a minimum a hack to avoid the dest...

Re: Hiding "Operations" (or job) does not hide operations themselves

Thanks for such a detailed explanation, that's a great help. To clarify, it seems that what we are seeing is different, independent renditions of the same path operation, not multiple objects controlling the visibility of the same rendition. That is why it appears to using OR logic but that is not w...

Re: Path Workbench Repairing an Operation Moved Out of the Job

Yes, I've found that attempting to reorder ops like that will break things. This is particularly confusing because the mouse cursor changes in the UI indicating that DnD is supported and possible when it is not. This should either be fixed so it does work or disabled in the UI so that it does not me...

Re: Hiding "Operations" (or job) does not hide operations themselves

The same with jobs. If I hide them, I still have to hide every single child element (operations, model, stock), for nothing of the job to be visible. There is a strange kind of logic going on here. Visibility of an operation seems to be job.visibility OR Operations.visibility OR operation.visibilit...

Re: Proposed Extensions Improvements - PR #4388

Another significant improvement to Path, thanks for all this effort. I'll have to spend some time testing before I can comment much. 3. There is a bug, identified by Sliptonic, in the current Extensions code that is not fixed in this PR. I will likely need MLampert's expertise to track down the crit...

Re: fresh master pull failing to build

Many thanks.

I found the patch based on your work, with help from hobbes1069, here:

https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 25#p502725

Applied cleanly to current master.

Re: FreeCAD 0.18.4 fails to build with vtk 9.0

Sorry if I was not clear enough. I build FreeCAD from master. Two issues: 1. I had this working fine on Fed33 which I had just upgraded to from Fed31. Due to package version limitations on the latter I had to build a few things from source when I initially installed FC. ( Back before py2 went out of...
