Re: Nerbs and Silk errors
Thanks microelly2! I installed WinPython 3.6.7.0 which included scipy. In GitHub, I downloaded and installed Winpython64-3.7.1.0.exe (461mb) but there's also Winpython64-3.7.1.0Zero.exe (27mb). There's no info on what is the 3.7.1.0Zero package. Any idea? Do I need to install the Zero package too? B...

Re: How to do a character (cartoon) in 3D
Yes a regular piston is probably not to complicated to do because it has symetric shapes. But for this design I need a kind of deformed piston. I'm looking more for a technique to design something very irregular, something like Darth Vader or Ironman head. But I'll look at what you indicated and see...

How to do a character (cartoon) in 3D
I did a piston cartoon for a helmet I painted. Now I'm looking to do this cartoon in 3D to print it. Is it possible with FreeCad? I look around and didn't saw anything about doing characters in FreeCAD. If it's possible, what will be the technique to do it? Any video about that subject? I saw many c...

Re: Fillet BRep_API: command not done
Lol, I don't really look into breaking many levers! Broken levers mean falls... I'm not looking for that ;) It's just that I was looking for something to do to practice 3D design and printing. It's funny that you talk about pausing the printer to put a metal rod inside. I was talking about that with...

Re: Fillet BRep_API: command not done
Yes openBrain, I noticed that the hole was not deep enough on the first design and correct it. And you are right, this Honda is an old 4 strokes 1986 TLR with drum brakes. The green one on the back, is an Ossa Tr280i. A 280cc 2 strokes with disk brake and weight 147 lbs. I do modern and vintage tria...

Re: Fillet BRep_API: command not done
I will look at that freedman! To pratice and learn, I did the design again and change some things in the design. But again I had some problem with the Fillet. I used only lines, fillets and arcs in the sketch but it didn't work. Than I separated the part into several pieces in several sketches, and ...
