Re: FreeCAD as pre-post processor for MBDyn
... links to parts ... I did not copy the Solids , I just use links to the Solids Okey, I think we have a descrepancy in terminology definition here. Seen from my point of view a: - Part is a file describing a physical object you can put your hands on. - Body is a container of solid objects. - Soli...

Re: FreeCAD as pre-post processor for MBDyn
The new version works with links to parts, so that the independent parts are in separate files. Judging from your linked Youtube video, I'd say you've extracted/copied the solids out of the files and placed/pasted them solids in a new file together with other pasted solids. Re: FreeCAD new tree functionality for drag elements to sub-tree
How about starting this macro from a right-click-meny? It would make it more integrated and simpler to use, just right-clicking and choose "Open as sub-tree" on the thingie you want to appear as a separate pop-up-window. I'm sure you will get help with it from some kind hearted forum membe...

Re: Lattice2 Tutorial to be made
If I may suggest, working with pictures and text, the two-column approach worked a treat in the automotive industri for conveying how-to-do-things for their workshops That is, a picture to the left shows one step (in this case, how to do a certain step with the Lattice workbench) and the correspondi...

The new version works with links to parts, so that the independent parts are in separate files. Is this what you mean? Hmm, let's see if we are talking about the same things here. What i was asking for was, moving the whole file with all its content with repect to other files with all their content...

Re: [Feature request] Sketcher point-on-point gives one common point
... a simple example and an outline of an algorithm that prove your statement. You will not get any proof. It was a question, not a statement. Traversing drmacro's simple example and adding: coincidence must be calculated, compared with a link to a memory adress (a pointer in programming terms). Th...

Re: Sketcher - Processing issue
a) the change on the sketch does not modify the end shape generated, but intermediate operations changed the end shape (Auto-update on) . Make Auto-update "flag"-aware? I mean, if user did something that did not affect the end shape or its orientation, then I, as a user, expect the sketch...

Re: Birth of Design456 Workbench
Starting new tool "Design456_ExtendFace". Please let me know if you have other requests. Hi mariwan, how about making this tool more generic, so it's possible to manipulate an arbitrary surface, not just a flat one? Like: "single-click on surface once and manipulate it as a stiff sur...
