Hi Kunda1, Thank you for the speedy reply! You are correct! Turns out the issue is with QT5 handling the high dpi scaling . In order to fix the issue I added the following to my bashrc: #Disable qt auto-scale export QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 #Set manual scaling factor export QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1.5

This is a HiDPI thing. Search for that in the forum.

Yeap. The only caution is that "everything is working right" only in Qt 5.14+
