Re: Topological naming mess vs Realtunder : when can we hope for a solution?
What does it mean ? We do not merge PR till TNP is fixed. And this takes months/years. And FreeCAD is stuck during this time. And same ones will come here to complain that there is no more enhancement of FreeCAD... I do _not_ state that it should have the "highest" priority but from a dis...

https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&p=569851#p569832 To put the discussion to an more appropriate place. I think merging the TNP "fix" should have a higher priority. Also I think that the "single solid per Body" paradigma is arbitrarily chosen and obsolete. It mi...

Re: PR #4752 Topological Naming
and removing the "single solid per Body" limitation in PD Yes, the "one Body limitation" was a very important reason to use Link Branch also for me. I asked several times to remove it in the master but got very disappointing responses. This change (which would be very simple) wa...

Re: PR #4752 Topological Naming
In my humble opinon ... : As time goes by, more and more user will use Link branch because the dont want to deal with the hassle, master provides by the TNP. Just because there is no real cause to not use a branch where TNP is no such big deal any more and removing the "single solid per Body&qu...

Re: PR #4752 Topological Naming
A further step we could do is indeed to provide builds of the TPN branch so people can help doing the test part without having to compile... Let's try to organize that? This would be very helpful. While I would like to use/test TNP Branch and report problems. Setting up an own build/compile envirom...

Body's "forken" ?

Re: sketcher bug
Can someone list the ticket associated with this bug ? To clarify: The behaviour may be undesired, but this is not a bug. The constraints defining the sketch are valid in both cases. I disagree, the behaviour might be vaild from a mathematically point of view - but (Free-) CAD (Sketcher) fullfills ...

Re: Which way to go, Assy 3 or 4 ?
Hello emax, well - it depends - especially on your needs - by the way - you forgot to mention A2+. Each WB has her own benefits and philosophy(!) so it might be possible that they will coexist forever. I'd like to suggest that you work yourself through the video-tutorials which can be found and make...

Re: SVG from Sketcher sketch?
Hi all,
i ran into the same problem - the export uses a plane where the sketch show up as just a line
I'd like to propose, that the the export function is enhanced in that way, that the plane-to-be-exported using e.g. "flattened svg export" becomes selectable.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: PR #4942 new option to show/hide sketcher constraints
Hello Abdullah, while I can't say often enough: thank you so very much (!) for your efforts on the sketcher-wb I'd like to ask: Will the planed/evaluated improvements too offer/establish any possibility to allow sketches to be exported as dxf or into techdraw ? Could this eventually be taken into ac...
