Re: Possible bug: Arch Rebar could not be created if sketch has an external geometry dependency
(perhaps referencing the underlying wire for example), But you loose the parametric behaviour, like wall thickness. When you create a window (or other structure) from a sketch, I understand it simply deletes any external geometry and constraints from the sketch. I would highly appreciate a screenca...

Re: Arch rebar corners rounding
Looks like the bug appears, when there are at least 4 corners.
The wire does not need to be closed for the bug.
I made a gap on an edge of the rectangle on purpose, the bug is still the same: Edit: It only works up to 2 corners. Three corners are already too much...

Arch rebar corners rounding
I'm building a simplest house possible, just to learn Arch workbench. A picture: simplest_house.png Now I'm at the foundation work, and I would like to place rebars inside the foundation. Just like on this picture: http://www.buildmyowncabin.com/footings/footings%20004.jpg (picture from here: http:/...

Re: Possible bug: Arch Rebar could not be created if sketch has an external geometry dependency
on creating the rebar, remove external edges automatically from the underlying sketch It is not the kind of the whole point of the rebar, to be able to reference it from the existing arch structure face? And once the rebar is created, I'm able to edit the sketch and put the external edge reference ...

Re: Possible bug: Arch Rebar could not be created if sketch has an external geometry dependency
I have found a workaround! Before clicking on arch rebar. Edit the sketch and remove the external geometry stuff (purple lines, and also the blue lines too) 5. click on arch rebar 6. go back on treeview, select the pad's face and reassign the sketch to the same face. 7. edit the sketch and put back ...

Re: Possible bug: Arch Rebar could not be created if sketch has an external geometry dependency
I think you must have selected something wrongly, following your steps gives me a normal scenegraph: Are you sure you are referencing external geometry (the edge of the pad) with your sketch? Because without external referencing it is working fine for me too. Thank you very much taking time double ...

Re: Creating a face from two rectangles (one inside another)
Dunno, how I could not figure it out myself.
Applying Upgrade tool to each of them, then selecting the bigger face,
then the smaller face and clicking on the downgrade tool, makes the desired effect.

Possible bug: Arch Rebar could not be created if sketch has an external geometry dependency
Mini tutorial:
1. create a rectangle in sketch (2meter long, 200mm width)
2. pad it (200mm height)
3. Convert it to arch structure
4. select face, create a sketch, reference to external geometry in the sketch
5. DAG results
Dependency graph: Anyone can confirm?

Re: Creating a face from two rectangles (one inside another)
Hi arcol, To make what you want, make two Draft rectangle, set the Make Face property to true to both of them. Select both the bigger and the smaller rectangle in this order and press the Draft Downgrade button. It is working with Draft Rectangle only. (but working!, thank you). But if I start from...
