The Arch Wall page in the Wiki shows an example of an Arch Wall made from a sketch. Note that the walls are smoothly connected:
When I try to recreate the same, my walls are connected like this:
How did they create the example in the Wiki?

Re: How to change my workflow to get better editability
@triplus Now I see what you mean. But I think the problem happens earlier in the process, already when drawing the sketch: freecad1.gif At this point, the sketch is overconstrained, but this is not detected. If I delete the horizontal constraint and re-add it, then it is detected: freecad2.gif I thi...

Re: How to change my workflow to get better editability
Datum geometry is great, especially for references between multiple bodies. But I think in a solid like this, having datum geometry between each two features would add a lot of overhead:

Re: How to change my workflow to get better editability
Oh, attachment modes, I totally forgot about them! That means internally it is already possible to manage arbitrary origins... could I maybe get an attachment mode that works the same as Plane face but sets the origin to a selectable vertex of the face (or even just the one with e.g. the lowest coor...

@triplus
I'm not sure what you mean exactly. I tried following your instructions, here's the result:

Re: How to change my workflow to get better editability
One thing I don't understand from the wiki article:
If I do that, how do I make pockets starting from a face?you need to stop mapping sketches to faces - entirely

Re: How to change my workflow to get better editability
Going back in the design history to add/remove geometry will produce issues for features added after. This is what "topological naming" ongoing projects will try to improve in the future. I don't mind re-mapping the face when I add/remove faces. After all it's difficult to define what con...

Re: How to change my workflow to get better editability
In reply to chrisb's answer: I have to admit, that is not entirely the advice I was hoping for. Indeed the idea of having three "master sketches" that serve as the only reference in the body is something I will definitely try. But still, the new Attachment/Map Mode editor makes it super ea...

Re: How to change my workflow to get better editability
And create my sketch relativ to that geometry: 2018-04-15_2351.png Which leads to the desired result: 2018-04-15_2356.png So far this workflow is very conventient and fast. Unfortunately it leads to two problems: 1. When I change the parameters of earlier features, my body breaks, because the sketch...
