The detection is not a virus but a "warning we've never seen this file in the wild". detection.png If you search WS.Reputation.1 there are a lot of angry developers/user that complain that there is no way to disable it completely. I managed to get it decompressed from the 7z archive then I...

Re: Sketcher: Switch line side for angle constraint
Just tried with 0.17, and you can create a construction line on the other acute side (with coincident constraints to keep it in place while your edit the rest of your sketch) and measure the angle from the construction line to your geometry line. Not super practical, but it works.

Re: Wiki Tutorials page got an overhaul!
Thanks NormandC for your efforts, I missed the lego tutorial on the previous list page. This one is much more user friendly

Re: How to use Sketcher clone
You need to constrain the radius before the clone, then the original and clone will both update when changing the radius of the original. Thanks both for your answers, I missed the constraints requirements, I guess it makes sense. Though this seems to be working for distance (as equal constraints a...

How to use Sketcher clone
Good day I'm trying to use the clone tool in a sketch but it does not seems to be working, the help wiki is not very helpful either. So is it normal that I can change the 2 circles independently after clone? I've tested on another 0.17 on windows with the same result. clone.png Thanks for your help ...

Re: Naming sketches dimensions without constraints
Yeah I guess I was not using the right naming, anyway it's working now. You just need to rename the dimension through the constraints list to avoid changing it to geometry mode.

Re: Naming sketches dimensions without constraints
Thanks Willem for the suggestion I guess that would be handy, but how do you create a "construction dimension" ? As a side note, the context menu in the "Contraints list" let you switch the type (driving/non-driving) and rename the constraint without issue. That's easier than typ...

Re: Naming sketches dimensions without constraints
Actually I just found the answer  by trying different buttons in the bar, you just need to switch from constraint to reference mode and then use the blue version of the measurement tools... referenceMode.png And it set an non-driving constraint (blue) in the drawing: constraint2.png Except tha...

Naming sketches dimensions without constraints
Good day, I'm trying to have a feel for proper design flow of parts and decided to go with a master Sketch with named constraints that I can reference in other body/sketches. It seems to be convenient to change the master values and affect every other objects from the main GUI data view. My question...

Re: Windows 0.17 Daily Build
Good day, I do not see a daily build for 0.17 on this page, the latest seems to be from Dec 16th, FreeCAD_0.17.13387_x64_dev_win.7z Am I missing anything ? From my scouring of the wiki and forum, it seems that only the Ubuntu package has a day build right now? Also for development & compile, wha...
