Re: Order of recompute problem
ChrisB Sketch009 flips because external circle from Tray moves but the FillingSpillGuard does not. so other geometry is not concentric to the external one as it should be and the solver flips the sketch. But if you make small increments (10mm) in the MaxDia you can observe that at first FillingSpil...

Order of recompute problem
Any idea why the placement of a PD Body is computed After its content? This creates problems if some of the geometry relies on other object that gets moved and referenced geometry is not where it is expected to be because body does not move accordingly before recomputation. It of course could be avo...

Re: [BUG?] Drag-drop not working with release 0.21.0
Not sure how but the issue is fixed for me. I first tried starting with new config (renamed FreeCAD data folder) and it worked. Then restored the data folder back and half of the mods outside Mod folder - still working. Moved mods back to try to identify a problematic mod - all works and could not f...

Re: [BUG?] Drag-drop not working with release 0.21.0
There is something more deep. I can not even drag/drop items over File Open dialog which should be an Windows Explorer one? As if dropping over FC windows is disabled in general... Are there other places where I could try to drop things to see if it works? Or a setting in FC/Windows that could preve...

[Solved] Drag-drop not working with release 0.21.0
I noticed that Drag-Drop under windows is not working with the release build. It works just fine with recent weekly builds. I tried FCStd and STL files - not working with release, work with weekly. Release info: OS: Windows 8 build 9600 Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.21.0.33668 +7 (Git) Bui...

Which actually disables hardware rendering and switches to software one (MESA). There is a setting that should do just that: Edit/Preferences/Display/3D View/Rendering/Use software OpenGL.

Re: Project recovery
First, use backup files.
When extracting the FCStd file you provided with 7-zip there are a lot of good BRP files that you can import (drag/drop) in FreeCAD and use. Not sute what the project was supposed to look like and of course there is no any history, just dumb shapes but it is a start.

Re: Aston Martin One-77
Can you share an example file? Like parts of the front left bumper, where different surfaces connect to each other?
