Re: Having Issues with Loft Operation
There should have been no need to break it up into multiple files. But, I'm guessing the reason the loft doesn't work is that the Loft tool needs to have all the edges created in the same order. Since this is what I got after getting 3 of them in a single file, I'm guessing the edges aren't in the ...

Re: Having Issues with Loft Operation
Any suggestions how to fix this? I have no control over creating these section. They are generated by intersection of two parts.

Having Issues with Loft Operation
Hi, I am having difficulties generating a loft through 5 sections/surfaces. I can, however, create a successful loft through any two sections, but not through all 5 sections. Can anyone help me with this problem? I have saved each section individually to reduce the file size. Thanks in advance. FC V...

I can not duplicate your issue. Part ruler and mesh both display the same info without zooming in.

Looking for a FreeCAD/cfdof example using Sliding Mesh
Hi,
I’m trying to model and run an axial fan installed in a wind-tunnel to predict performance characteristics of the fan. I understand that simplest approach would be using sliding (dynamic) mesh. Does anyone know or have a model setup in FreeCAD/cfdof to share? Appreciate your help.

Re: Error when start running solver
Changed mesh density to 5mm for base and 0.5 for refinement. It worked and converged

Re: Flow Through an axial fan
I recorded a tutorial about the simulation of a wind turbine. You can find the tutorial here: https://youtu.be/Q10MbSFEiEM This solution is a simple solution, a "high end" solution would be to use a rotating mesh with Arbitrary Mesh Interface (AMI). This solution is not supported by the c...

Re: Fan Simulation Resulted in Pressure Loss Instead of Gain
Sorry, I did not have the time and the motivation to let your example run. In general, I can recommend that you try out models with few elements and simple geometry as a first step in order to gain experience. I made a video about the opposite case - wind turbine. Did you watch this video? You have...
