Re: shadows in the freecad viewport

I have just found another lighting issue: depending on the camera point of view, not only the ground surface is shadowed differently, but the shadow itself too: 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg From a top view the shadow even dissapears... I think I have a new clue about this issue: the shadow is behaving as a no...

Re: shadows in the freecad viewport

Oh yeah!! Working like a charm, really cool build, congrats! More Santa Claus wishes: option to tweak the bump height (intensity) "ground auto position" to FC preferences... maybe all ground and shadow parameter fit into FC preferences as they are something that the user would like the sam...

Re: shadows in the freecad viewport

Image updated. They are released without my Coin3D patch. Can you guys please try the new ground texture and bump map (see the document property), and report back if it is working? I am not sure the problem I have is because of my graphics driver or not. I got my texture and bump map (height or nor...

Thanks

Re: New overlay mode (Now ready for testing)

Cheers

Re: New overlay mode (Now ready for testing)

Nice, I have checked them and they are very interesting. Anyway, the 2 states are not user configurable via stylesheet, doesn't it? There are three states actually, and yes they are user configurable. Right now, only through parameter editor, under group "BaseApp/Preferences/MainWindow", ...

Re: New overlay mode (Now ready for testing)

Yes, please check the opening post for instructions. I have also made some minor change on the existing stylesheet, e.g. here . Nice, I have checked them and they are very interesting. Anyway, the 2 states are not user configurable via stylesheet, doesn't it? it would be great if they are so. I gue...
