Re: Ver 0.18 cannot Export
I've been all over FreeCAD, and tried every tab, button, etc. while in Model. I've gone to Edit->Preferences->Import_Export and turned on "Export full Free CAD parametric model. Nothing I do changes things. Even the PDF file turns out to be garbage. I guess I am in need of step-by-step instruct...

Re: Half-Hole Radii on a titled suface

Re: Half-Hole Radii on a titled suface
Thank you immensely to all three of you guys. chrisb: I like the fact that you gave step-by-step instructions, I will go over them and see if I can start it on offset rather than the outside edge. You missed the high-light instructions - "If the pipe breaks out to the (outside) vertical surface...

Dear Willhem, Freedman, & Chris, Thanks much for your help. We are almost there. I was able to modify Willhem's model & almost got there. Without any knowledge of Datum Planes or how to use them I was not successful, if you can find a good tutorial on the subject that would help. Otherwise I...

Half-Hole Radii on a titled suface
I am trying to get 12 half-hole grooves symmetrically spaced like spokes in a wheel on a rotational tilt. I have two questions: 1. How do I get more than one, I need 12 of them @ 30* separation? Polar construction doesn't work. 2. How do I get the grooves to follow the tilt angle of the revolution? ...

Re: Problem with Gear Teeth in the side of a simple cylindere
Opps!
I wanted the 8 semicircles at right angle to what you have shown, so they are lying within the curved face. So it would look lie the spokes of a wheel.
Sorry I wasn't more clear in my explanation.
