Re: Sketcher Toolbars

Coding UI may be easy. Designing a good UI...not so much. that's because a "good" UI can't be designed . It evolves in a Darwinian way : bad UIs are forgotten, good UIs are adopted (and please don't come with Steve Jobs and Apple). You're trying solve a non-solvable problem (in the sense ...

Re: Sketcher Toolbars

And, why are we doing this now when there are 1096(!) open issues [327 of which are labeled bugs] waiting for resolution? For example, I have no idea about topology stuff so I am not able to contribute in any meaningful way to TNP mitigation project. I am however able to write some UI that's called...

Re: The story behind the OpenCASCADE 's new fork: OpenGeometry

Wow, it seems that they want that the kernel works cloud based no, it seems you don't get it, what's happening. I've foreseen a Chinese fork for some time already, it's happening now. Why ? Re: Assembly 4 workbench

Today, I noticed that the distance measured is reported as zero when measuring distances between the LCSes of two inserted parts in an Assembly. It does not matter if the two inserted parts and the same or different "source" parts in the "Parts" group. you're right, that's a bug...

Thank you too for the explanation. ... Am I allowed to edit the documentation? Yes, please. If you know how to use GitHub, you can make changes to the INSTRUCTIONS page and propose PRs. If you do this, please make PRs against the development branch, never directly into master . We could also think ...

Re: Integrated assembly workbench coming to your doorstep

All workbenches are modules and can be individually disabled in preferences already Another lie by Ondsel / @sliptonic ... wait ... unless this would imply that you can IGNORE the installed Ondsel workbench and you can "devalidate" it in the preferences to not se it ... which would, techn...
