Re: Proposal to remove 2-point rectangle
@regis, there is a special type of draft object called a rectangle object which only has 2 points as editing handles. This is convenient because it allows you to draw a rectangle quickly and modify it quickly. This is also inconvenient because it is always a rectangle and if you want to change its s...

Re: Release of 0.18
You are correct. The change implements a useful feature, but breaks known behaviour, and the full implementation to restore this behaviour is not yet mature. I will override the feature so that it doesn't catch tab events, that will fix the bug, and restore behaviour back to previous. I will submit ...

Re: Release of 0.18
I couldn't find what the Tab key does in Draft edit mode... If this is related, it completely breaks usage of coordinate fields as you have no choice but to click in each field to make it active. What's odd, it does not affect the ShapeString UI, in there we can continue to use Tab to switch from o...

Re: Draft Edit improvements
Hey carlopav if you check out my PR (both for BIM workbench and for FreeCAD) I have two things which might interest you: - For the tab-cycle-select it applies a SoAnnotation node so that the draft object displays above the others to give an x-ray view (seen in my screen recording) - I have modified ...

Re: Proposal to remove 2-point rectangle
@paullee, I think allowing the ability to join different types of curve interpolations (polyline, arc, bezier, spline) is a good idea for the future. I think, however, we need to first do some code cleaning :) Removing the 2-point rectangle object will make that easier too as it is one less thing to...

Re: Draft scale v0.18 is broken?
It is "fixed" (except for rectangles, which I think we can deprecate).

Re: Proposal for draft modifiers to work in draft edit mode
Ability to scale subelements now implemented. Quote from the PR: The last commit basically rounds out this PR in terms of implementing features. It is now possible to: - For move, rotate, or scale, choose to modify one or more subelements (vertices / edges) instead of an entire object - Highlight a ...

Re: BSi ISG Spring meeting 2019 14-15 March 2019
I get the impression that the BSI group is not really an "open" community like FOSS communities. For one thing, at least in Australia, there is a 330AUD paywall to even be considered a "member" for contribution purposes. Then, there is this corporate document to proposing any cha...
