FreeCad does not actually hang completely, but starts to consume lots of memory. after about 30 seconds and 4GB of consumed memory, it is responsive again as if nothing happened. (aside from 4 gigs of wasted memory) This also happens on LinkStage b...

Re: Sheet Metal Workbench

I've submitted a Pull Request to allow multiple versions of FC to work, I'm not a fan of excluding so many versions just to allow the dev version of FC to work, we've got to have an overlap especially when the Readme states 'works with 0.17 and above', maybe that should change to '0.19 and above'. ...

Re: Socket Set Screw in FWB

racx wrote: Thu Oct 13, 2022 9:32 pm If I try to use any of the other socket set screws no screws are generated and I receive similar error messages. All other fastener types seem to work properly. Is this a known issue?
It should be fixed now, please update and test again

Re: Fasteners workbench based on screw-maker

I know they're not your usual nuts, bolts or washers, but there are two DINs that I use a lot that I would love to see added: DIN 471: Circlips (retaining rings) for shafts; Normal type and heavy type DIN 472: Circlips (retaining rings) for internal grooves; Normal type and heavy type please add an...

Re: Fasteners workbench based on screw-maker

I assume the problem is a circular dependency between the modules screw_maker and FastenerBase. I have solved the cyclic import issue (nicely - without hacking...) this should solve problems of loading files before loading the WB. 1) create a part with a hole in it (you can find my version attached...

Re: Fasteners workbench based on screw-maker

Hello, Shai. First, want to echo that from Kunda! I finally got a chance to look at it, but unfortunately it threw an error on my first nut. My FC version is a little old, and I wouldn't be surprised if the error disappeared by upgrading my FC. But you did say you wanted info on back compatibility,...
