That's a commercial package in fact. It is not available in sources.

Re: Utility to inspect OpenCascade models

Ping The first shape (the bigger one) cannot be auto-healed because it contains a solid with the incorrect configuration of shells. Have a look at the following screenshot: freecad-shape1.png All these small round features intersect the bigger shell, so there is a self-interference in the model. Th...

Re: Utility to inspect OpenCascade models

Dear Wilfred, Thank you for posting the shapes, I am having a look at them now. Your second shape seems to be healed already, at least it arrives at Analysis Situs as a formally correct solid. Do you have a broken version of the second shape? For the first shape, it is a compound of many solids. The...

Re: Utility to inspect OpenCascade models

Guys, if you can kindly propose any cmake improvements to ease the process, I will follow. Personally, I just built OpenCascade from scratch, which is probably not something most of people want to do. Also, the current finder of OpenCascade simply looks for libs/includes, and it is not very conventi...

Re: FOSDEM FreeCAD & Blender

Was wondering about somebody developing an Open Source solution for going from Mesh to Nurbs. This is the subject of my research in fact (https://www.researchgate.net/publication/332541920_To_the_Development_of_Open_Source_Software_for_the_Reconstruction_of_CAD_Models). There is no MVP so far thoug...

Re: Utility to inspect OpenCascade models

... would you please help me to go further? Maurice Maurice, I have tried to configure in a command line as you did. Given that all 3-parties are compiled, I ended up with the following scenario: git clone https://gitlab.com/ssv/AnalysisSitus.git asitus-src cd asitus-src mkdir build cd ./build cmak...

Re: Utility to inspect OpenCascade models

... would you please help me to go further? Maurice Hello Maurice. Thanks for giving it a try and sorry for my crappy configuration scripts, it's too bad if you wasted much time on it. I will try to make it more conventional and smart, and your link to FreeCAD's guide is of much help. I will check ...

Re: Utility to inspect OpenCascade models

Normally on debian based distros, locally built packages get installed to '/usr/local/'. My build processes became much smoother, once I quit fighting this. Dependencies that are real specific, like ActiveData, I would make git submodules and do a recursive clone on the parent repo. This will clone...
