Re: FreeCAD 0.21: A Very Easy Way to Draw Tangents to B-Splines

"Optically" I cannot see that loss of smoothness. I am wondering if you could you give some math reasons supporting that asseveration. The loss of smoothness comes as soon as you want to modify the spline afterwards. B-Splines give you "more smoothness than meets the eye" ;-) i....

Re: FreeCAD 0.21: A Very Easy Way to Draw Tangents to B-Splines

I invite you to take a look at the short video A Very Easy Way to Draw Tangents to B-Splines I am wondering if a tool like this could be added to the Sketcher in FreeCAD 0.21. While it is indeed a quick way to to make the tangents, there are a few flaws in the method: 1. This requires "breakin...

Part WB Extrude tool with no expression engine.

When calling extrude tool in Part WB, The dimensions (Length Fwd and Rev) cannot be assigned via expression engine. Once the extrusion is made these properties can be edited and then use expression engine there. How hard could it be to correct this detail? Greetings. OS: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullsey...

I won't develop Freehand_BSpline anymore.
It was an experiment. I still use it often, but I don't wish to spend time on that messy code.
Good morning.

Good to know it.
Greetings.

Re: Curves workbench

... What FreeCAD version? What Curves WB version? Without these informations I think that is hard to guess what is going wrong, there are many variants to take in accounts. even a simple FC 0.20.1 will not suffice, as if you use an AppImage it maybe could use OCCT 7.6.3 if you use a distribution co...

Re: Curves workbench

Strange behavior when editing a Freehand BSpline. After: Creating a new document, in the sketcher, creating a simple sketch on the XY plane with just a vertical segment. Then in Part WB, extrude the sketch along Z axis. Now, in Curves WB, create a Freehand BSpline. (In edit mode) Select one of BSpli...
