Re: issue with opfinaldepth (I think)

Hi.
I do not know the root cause but here is a workaround. Change the "Use Outline" property to true. Then the generated toolpath goes down to Z=-16.

HTH.

Cześć.

W module Path nie została jeszcze zaimplementowana funkcja "Rest machining".

Bug in pocket 3D?

Hi guys. Could anybody verify that this is intended behaviour? Pocket 3D with multiple features. Keep tool down set to true. Endmill rips through material between features without going to safe z. Thanks. Cheers, Mateusz OS: Debian GNU/Linux bullseye/sid (KDE//usr/share/xsessions/plasma) Word size o...

Re: Countersink for ISO10642 screw

Hi! To drill this hole you need this Countersink drill It is the usual / fastest way to produce such holes ;) Yes. I have a set of those but I do not seem to get consistent results on my drill press. I do not think that this drill will work on my 6040 router. It does not have the rigidity to drill w...

Re: Countersink for ISO10642 screw

Hi guys! Hi Mateus, i'm think 3D Pocket isn't the OP to use for it... You ere using a tool with an "special" shape, which is not supported by Path WB. If you use the Drilling OP you should get what you want. I did not know that. That explains it. Will have to do it by hand then. I have set...

Re: Countersink for ISO10642 screw

Hi @chrisb. Sorry for not being precise enough. Here is the expected result. Countersink with a 1mm pocket. count-with-pocket.png This is what I get with standard "Pocket 3D" operation (in real life). count-path-standard.jpg This is what I get with "Pocket 3D" operation and "...

Countersink for ISO10642 screw

Hi. I'm trying to create a countersink for ISO10642 screw. I'm using a 90deg spot drill as a tool and a pocket 3d operation. The result does not match the model. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Project file attached. Cheers, Mateusz OS: Debian GNU/Linux bullseye/sid (KDE//usr/share/xsessions/plasma) ...

Re: Changing pad length in property editor does not update gui for latest dev version

No, I don't have to click the Recompute if I don't want to. I can click the Recompute button if the editor widget that has changed a property still has the focus to manually update the document. Otherwise the document will be updated automatically as soon as the editor widget loses the focus. Hi @w...

Thank you! :)
It works like a charm.
Credits should go to @hamish2014 for his fit_plane_to_surface1 function.

Have a nice one.
