Re: Techdraw WB - some weird lines are shown
I have finished my 3D model and now I have to supply the documentation using TechDraw workbench. Workbench shows two lines that shouldn't be there (attachment - marked with a yellow marker) . What kind of lines are these two lines and how do I turn them off? I supply also the screenshot of the deta...

Re: TechDraw workbench - no support for italic font
I noticed that in TechDraw workbench options there is no support for italic font. Why? Tech font is also alowed to be angled... So why would Freecad creators present such a limmiting factor? Technically, italic/bold/underline/etc are font styles, not fonts. Some font designers separate styles into ...

Re: TechDraw workbench - labeling parts of an assembly
When cmake cries for missing depenencies, install them with Synaptic. So i keep my FreeCAD on Debian 10 very fresh. I know, but installing Freecad like that breaks your distribution. Well this is fine if you only have Freecad on the PC and you won't upgrade your computer any more. Software should b...

Re: TechDraw workbench - labeling parts of an assembly
Add special symbols made in inkscape. I can provide my file in case you are interested. I am interested (I need some references to help me design my own "baloons"). It looks like this is the only way for me to go at this point. Appimage is 0.18 version and doesn't yet have baloons and aft...

Re: TechDraw workbench - labeling parts of an assembly
I stick to the distro packages. I avoid AppImages and Flatpaks which bring a lot of security issues. No baloons for me. I'll probably insert a custom symbols like sugested which is a big drawback as I have waited years (!) for Debian 10 which ships Freecad 0.18 with TechDraw, which I see now is a bi...

Re: TechDraw workbench - labeling parts of an assembly
As it turns out baloons are only available on Freecad 0.19 and I am on Freecad 0.18 which is part of a Debian (Freecad doesn't provide .deb file of the latest release). Any other Idea? Could I somehow use a radius dimension with an "arbitrary" value like in the attached image (I also manua...

Re: TechDraw workbench - labeling parts of an assembly
I edited my reply and added image of a TechDraw template which already has a large spreadsheet (Freecad editable). So I only need to mark parts with a numbers, so I can later manually write them down in my spreadsheet which is a part of template as can be seen from the attachment.
