Re: How to project point of a body
I use the two datum points to create a sketch for sweep, but the result has issue. It cannot fully cut the body.
I found the datum points will change after close and open the drawing, I have to double click on both points to make the position correct, but still the sweep cut is problematic.

Re: How to project point of a body
I think my question is not clear enough. I want to have a reference point of the top and bottom of the cylinder edge, so I can draw on XZ plane Front and reference the points on the new sketch.
Edit: I add an image that I want to have a datum line on the cylinder face.

How to project point of a body
Newbie question, I have a body and want to project two points on a datum plane, but failed. I want to use the side edge as a reference for another body sketch. What is the right way to do that?

TechDraw Workbench Secondary Projections position issue
In TechhDraw Workbench, when I open my drawing, the position of Secondary Projections drawing is reset, it seems it didn't save.
Is it the software or my usage issue?

Re: v17 Pad sketch with individual objects only pads one object
Is it by design with the new version, that every object needs to have it's own sketch? Mirroring inside the sketch was something I've done a lot in my designs. If I try and edit and work on them with v17, they break. Is there a better way to accomplish the same thing? A simple sample is attached. I...
