Re: Very annoying mouse modus in CAD Navigation style

catman wrote: Sat Feb 22, 2020 7:07 pm The question is is it worth to put it in the list of OS dependent issues?
I say "yes".

catman wrote: Sat Feb 22, 2020 7:07 pm Maybe its helpful to know that the workaround is to get out by middle mouse key.

Re: Quoting; was: FreeCAD Website Design

My suggestion: Change the existing quote button behaviour as follows: User scrolls down to a post that contains a part of text they desire to quote. User selects that text, which is some subset of the entire text. User clicks the quote button, Image. The web page notices that text is selected, and ...

oomgoshcd wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2020 5:41 pm My guess is my terminology is a bit off and I'm causing some alignment confusion. I'm generically calling pads, pockets, chamfers features and I'm guessing that is wrong.
You can read here for Feature (and for more FreeCAD) terminology:

Re: Font Help

I see what you mean now - using that font as a ShapeString and then Extruding didn't work and I got the same results as you did. I has to use Draft WB > Downgrade of the A and R , use Upgrade to rebuild the Wires into Faces, Part WB > Boolean Difference to make Cuts, then Extrude the Cuts. It should...

Re: Font Help

Using draft I created Star Wars logo using the starjhol font. I'm guessing you used the Draft WB to trace over the letters? The issue I am finding is the triangle inside the 'A' and the same for the D and certain other letters are not getting the appropriate faces which I require for my design You ...
