if yes, maybe it is worth to consider naming it FreeCAD 1.0

It is way too good to be 0.xx for so long. We need radical versioning increase for assembly

Another thing: I was just on ubuntu, and over there when he offers latest stable, he is offering 0.11 version - It would be a good idea to offer 0.13 version after the release.

However, AFAIK there are thoughts of switching from wix to something else - maybe this should be considered when the switch is made - to choose type of installer that will just update old unstable version when it is installed.

It is more user frendly, because you do not need to switch to part workbench any more and choose part- export. It is more intuitive for new user, who has never worked with FreeCAD before, to simply choose File -> import (or export) - and get correct (colored) result. Not so many people ask around, s...

There is new unstable now. Can you check with that one.

Also, can you check with some msi files prior to this two - and say when did it start happening?
