Re: Part Mirror behaves strangely in TechDraw ... BUG?

Yes. Why? This was never the case and it would also not be consistent. It is always the case, that if a container like part, only the first layer was implemented, that is the usecase for it. The visibility properties have nothing to do with it, never was, never should. When it is like you want to d...

When you say whole shape, do you mean in your example, when Part selected, it should contain: Sphere, Cube (Mirror #1) and Cube?

Re: Some TechDraw observations ad therefore FRs

I seems to me that somebody is working on implementing a skipRecompute setting at the document object level. I saw this, but it does not work on TechDraw. Also when a page is skip recomputed and some further views (e.g. section are on a other page), it happens, that it ends an a endless recompute l...

Re: Multiple build errors on Linux

Arg, i have overseen/overread the errors. You are missing the submodules repos/depenencies. The test and the solver dependencies are not in the repo of FreeCAD (just as submodule).

For that you have to go in the source folder and

Code: Select all

git submodule update --init --recursive

I do not use A2+, but i am sure, that there is at least one layer above the bodies.

Re: (SOLVED) Problem with Part Design/Pocket

But when I use the sketch to make a pocket (Part Design/Pocket),I mess things up ..... Im using Version 21.2 on Windows. With a recompute with 0.22main it works. 2024-03-30_16-13.png So I will redesign my footmat based on your input. To be honest, why? In this particular case, it is not needed. Jus...

I have created it for you now: issue #13230 Well, if you waited a few minutes more, you had spare this, i have already found it (a long known issue), see 7214 . pre-selection, not preselection (just a joke). https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=70139 https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopi...
