Actually as a hobbyist I use a $1000 cnc machine. its not as good as $50K one, but it works great on wood and plastic, and it is quite common among hobbyists. (just search for cnc3040 on aliexpress)

Definitely. I used FreeCad quite a lot to design sheetmetal parts for production. Regarding milling I used it less, but the path workbench can generate gcode for my mini CNC machine to mill parts without any issue. As a fairly well acceptable workaround you can make all paths invisible immediately after creating the operation. Then you can do exactly as described above. This issue still exists in ver 0.22, However the workaround does not work for me. after making all paths invisible, nothing will get them vis...

it happens also if you delete all fasteners and leave only the cube and the dimension.
