Re: All pockets have max depth=0 - help please!

Gene, Thanks for the advice. After a bit of fiddling to replace the end mill with one slightly smaller, and using the 'outline' checkbox, I was able to generate the toolpaths I was expecting. I'd like to avoid mistakes I made in doing this one. Could you point out what you consider missing dimension...

Re: Post processor possible bug?

Chris B -
Comparing your 'about' info with mine, I notice your Qt version is quite a bit newer than mine, yet I did a pull almost immediately preceding this test. What could be the cause? Shouldn't I have the same version?

Re: Post processor possible bug?

Hi,

Yes, I changed this in my preferences, and the changes were not reflected in gcode generated after that. Chrisb says they worked for him, so I don't know what's up; this instance was compiled from the master.

OpenCAMLib for Master (0.20)

Hi, When I finally got a good build of master (a separate saga  ) I saw that openCAMlib had been built with an earlier Python version (3.6 vs current 3.8). Is anyone building a version that's compatible with 0.20 (using Python 3.8), and if so how could I get a copy? Thanks in advance, Frank Alv...

Re: Python errors after building from master

I'll be pleased to continue here in order to help others. :) Just let me know what I can do to help.

[Totally off topic: How do I edit the title so I can indicate the topic is actually solved? ]

Re: {SOLVED] Python errors after building from master

Hi SGrogan, That did it - it now completes opening! In fact, until now I've been unable to use the draft workbench for resizing - I think there was an incompability with my video drivers that now seems to be fixed. The next step for you real developers is to figure out the 1-line fix :D that will ta...
