At least for the small version I like the pure one without markers. In that case, its safer to stick with the non-markers design. I see that annual FreeCAD 2018 logo design challenge has started. Nice proposals. From the past logo challenges perspective point of view. Geometry didn't really changed...

Here's the logo in different sizes, seems ok to me on my laptop display, but I am not sure how different screen resolutions might affect the clarity of the logo.
