Re: novel coronavirus, COVID-19

This soap is more intense than the Little House on the Prairie. Can't wait the next episode.  Being in quarantine is like living the movie Groundhog Day, except with boring days. Seriously, wishing you well. Hope you'll recover very soon. ;) Thanks, the thing is that because I don't ...

Re: novel coronavirus, COVID-19

A little over 48 hours since I've tested positive. No fever (my temperature is still low) and just the tiniest bit of congestion in my chest. If a test hadn't determined that I'm positive for the virus, I wouldn't know I have it.

Re: novel coronavirus, COVID-19

Thank you all for the get well wishes! Thanks for sharing. Please keep updated on how you're doing. Wishing you well! I'll post updates as long as I can get to a computer. It's been about 24 hours since I first learned that I have the virus, but I don't know long I'd been a carrier before being test...

Re: novel coronavirus, COVID-19

Currently this discussion is mainly driven by forum members who have proven multiply that they are more addicted to FreeCAD and 3D modeling than to discussing political things only. I appreciate it, if the discussion has a quantitative basis. When it comes to formulae it is like being parametric. I...

Re: Add camfer to certain Edges

I tried "Part Design" and "Part" camfer and even a boolean difference, but no avail. Can you help me getting the camfer done? I have a workaround for the quarter arc chrisb mentioned: the quarter arc can be chamfered only 0.17mm while the other edges can have 1mm. I created a Sk...

Hi, and welcome! I agree with what jmaustpc wrote, and I see Linear300 replied as I'm writing this, but I can offer some information to get you started. using the "image workbench" and a button "create a planar image in the 3d space"....which allows the guy to bring the image of ...

Re: Smooth lip

Is there a way to smooth the lip in this model. The bottom is a revolve, then there is a sweep, that is the the lip is, and a pad at the top, It's easier to do it all in one Sweep, unless some portions are hollow and other portions are solid. 20200222a.png 20200222d.FCStd OS: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS (ub...
