I just use Arch wb, not have more gaps to seriously study the BIM wb yet

Re: Curved Path Stairs
That's really cool !
I wish the ideas of different 'types' of stairs as discussed could be further refined and implemented, so a uniform codes in modular approach could be made for further extendibility

Re: Trying to build a wall
Remaining question for me: how to make the walls transparent as in the examples earlier in this thread from Paullee. Congrat :) Just find the Property panel, switch from Data Tab to View Tab. Find Transparency property, try something from 1 to 100. A further question is, if I have more rooms, the c...

[ Solved ] Proper RemoveSplitter() of Fuse() of Faces
Tried below test but can't properly remove all splitters, after fuse of faces. See anyone has any idea  :?: Thanks Also see screencapture and model file attached. Re: Custom Path Stairs
I changed the name, just not sure how to cross-post? I just make a new post in Arch/BIM subforum? I agree with most what you said, I just did not understand well what is the difference between the 3rd and 4th type of stairs. Also for Balustrade we could pick any custom model and distribute it make ...

Re: Improved object library with preview
Thank you :) Yes, having the command in the form of macro is not optimal. Is there some reason why the Object library in BIM workbench and this macro are different? And on my computer the small Preview almost never works for some reason. That is why I wanted to make a viewer, every time I import fi...

Re: Trying to build a wall
The position of the grid seems also strange to me. the first screenshot is front view, the second top view. Should this not be normal, I have no idea how I achieved it .... It doesn't matter for your case at the moment. The grid represent the Working Plane - Check the Draft Workbench Wiki. There is...

Re: Trying to build a wall
When I select the sketch and make Arch Wall the slab gets a wall, not the wire inside the slab. That seems ok, maybe you post your screencapture / your model for avoidance of doubt what you are facing :) Build a slab and add one sketch for every room ? This is more or less most people's workflow as...

Re: Trying to build a wall
I just notice that the "Face Maker" option has an impact here. F.e. the aptly named "Cheese" face maker will create holes. Yes, it does, so if there is a close wire within a close wire, you can make a void, e.g. for staircase, or a atrium :) Just in this case the 2 loops touch a...
